Anyway Readers now that the Canada Day Events in Halifax have come and gone, https://worthmatters.blogspot.com/2024/06/and-now-summer-season-of-2024-kicks-off.html Continuing on Throughout the Summer months other free events and Concerts are yet to come.

At times in my Community  I talk about the Connection that the term Social Prescribing https://worthmatters.blogspot.com/search/label/social%20prescribing has with attending free events. Some mental health advocates and first voice mental health consumers, at times have told me that going to concerts and listening to music  is Therapeutic for their mental health. Some mental health consumers living in poverty, have told me at times during my Conversations with them they find that listening to music while in attendance at the free Concerts listening to music has has the fallowing positive affects on them Including:

  • Uplifting their spirits and making them feel happier
  • feeling like A wonderful Escape from the feeling of Sadness
  • Reduces Stress and provides feelings of Relaxation
Just to name a few of the feelings they experience while listening to music.
